About Me

Hi there!

My name is Amanda Cox.  Welcome to the About Me Page.

I’ve spent 15 years in interior design and property renovation and I help my clients declutter their homes and offices.

Helping you declutter

I want to enable you to let go of clutter to make room for new hobbies, interests and people in your life.

I’ve helped clients to organise their belongings and to throw out what they no longer need so that  they can redecorate.  I have worked alongside my clients while they made sometimes difficult decisions and taken positive steps towards freeing up their lives for something new.

I’ve worked with

newly married couples.

widows and widowers.

single people who are just too busy at work.

empty nesters.

people with a tendency to hoard.

All of them want to reorganise their space to reflect their new lives.

Helping a wider audience

However I want to reach a wider audience and help more people to learn to declutter now.  I love writing so I set up this blog.

Out With Clutter  will cover topics that help you to decide whether decluttering is right for you.  It will look at

(a) the pros and cons of decluttering

(b) the psychological impact of clutter

(c) the practicalities of decluttering on your own or with professional help.

It aims to teach you

  1. the skills to reorganise your own possessions and create space for the new you
  2. to get the best use out of your belongings
  3. to free up more your time for other things

Are you interested in learning to declutter now?

Anyone can do it.  It is just a question of knowing how.

What’s stopping you get started?

Folks are often dissuaded from getting started by the enormity of the job.   It’s worth it in the end.  Clients will testify to this.

You are not alone.  Everyone, including me,  has to experience the same trials and tribulations of decluttering and the cost of not doing it .  It’s all about getting started, sticking with it and getting the support you need to maintain momentum.  The results will be both time saving and cost cutting.

You can do it.  We can all do it together.

Best wishes

Amanda
